Victoria Beckham Ended The Barbiecore Trend By Wearing Gigantic Yellow Polly Pocket Shoes
There is only one person we can count on to end the Barbiecore trend, and it is none other than Posh Spice, a.k.a Victoria Beckham. The singer and designer went in the opposite direction of Barbiecore, wearing a gigantic pair of yellow Polly pocket shoes.
Earlier, Victoria Beckham posted a picture of her wearing a full black racerback tank top with a knee length skirt. With the outfit, she paired enormous yellow knee-high boots. The collaborated efforts of MSCHF and Crocs create the boots.
Although there are other variations of cartoon-style MSCHF shoes that are currently going viral, these boots are definitely standing out. They also have the signature, breathable holes of Crocs, along with ankle straps.
Victoria styled the rest of the outfit wearing minimalistic jewelry such as tiny gold earrings, a gold bracelet, and also a gold watch to go with the outfit. She pulled her hair back in a ponytail with a clean middle part. And to add an extra bit of glam, she wore feathered lashes and mauve lipstick.
Before the launch of these shoes on August 8th, Victoria Beckham is not the only one promoting these shoes. Other celebrities like Paris Hilton too had fun wearing Polly Pocket shoes in a bright yellow color.
She did a whole photoshoot wearing the same yellow boots while also wearing a yellow mock neck catsuit. The catsuit was covered with her favorite phrase, “Sliving,” and she also had her long blonde hair up in a high ponytail and finished the look with a smokey eye. Paris captioned the post saying, “Make your summer EXTRA hot with @MSCHF Big Yellow Boot ✨????????????✨.”
