Lady Gaga Says Getting Glammed Is A Healing Practice’ That She Believes In

Stefani Germanotta, aka Lady Gaga, became candid about her therapeutic makeup routine that fuels her on a daily basis. She said, “It has been a healing practice for me since I was really young. I was incredibly insecure when I was a teenager, when I graduated high school and went off on my own, I discovered that makeup had the power to transform who I was.”
In the interview with E! News, she further said about her beauty routine that “an extension of my skincare from the morning and extra boost of confidence. I feel I’m able to brave whatever is coming my way because I’ve really taken time for myself.
Makeup has the power to do whatever it is that each individual person needs it to do. It will not change everybody’s life, but it will change some people’s lives.”
Lady Gaga is known for her rocker chic, eccentric glamorous looks, both on stage and on the red carpet. Well, who can forget her Met Gala 2019 look when the theme was Camp? She delivered every bit of camp that was expected, especially from her.
“Her makeup featured long gold eyelashes extending to her forehead and cheeks, silver jewels below her waterline, sparkly eyeshadow, filled-in eyebrows and hot pink lips.”
Not only with her makeup look but even with her outfit at the Met Gala, she created drama, and it was everything we could dream of.
“She rocked a Brandon Maxwell ensemble that she removed on the iconic steps of the Met, revealing a black gown underneath. Gaga then changed into a pink frock which she eventually removed to show off her sparkly lingerie.”
